International Women in Engineering Day

International Women in Engineering Day

To mark International Women in Engineering Day, we’re shining a light on just a few of the brilliant women helping shape our business – across sales, safety, and financial strategy – and sharing their thoughts on their careers, experiences, and what it’s like working at EKSPAN.

 Jayne – QHSE Lead
With over 20 years in engineering, Jayne’s seen attitudes evolve – and progress take root. As EKSPAN’s QHSE lead, she’s helping create safer, smarter systems and showing what leadership in this sector really looks like.
“When I started, moving up the ladder felt impossible. Now, women are shaping how the industry works – and I’m proud to be part of that shift. Be focused. Be curious. Be prepared to learn.”

Caitlin – Finance Lead
You don’t need a hard hat to have impact in this industry. Caitlin didn’t start in engineering, but she’s found a place that values curiosity, challenge, and contribution — no matter your background.
“It’s not about the sector – it’s about the culture. EKSPAN makes space for everyone to contribute and grow.”

Brogan – Sales Apprentice
Brogan joined EKSPAN through a sales apprenticeship, and quickly realised engineering is anything but predictable. For her, it’s about learning fast, building client relationships, and embracing the unexpected.
“I thought it would be the same thing every day. Turns out every job is bespoke – and that’s what makes it so good.”

We’re proud to be part of an industry that thrives on diverse perspectives – and even prouder to have these women (and many more) helping shape what’s next.
