As a leading civil engineering firm with over 33 years of expertise in the design, manufacture, and installation of bridge bearings and structural components, EKSPAN is proud to announce its membership in the Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA).
As a specialist in delivering comprehensive solutions for bridges, marine installations, and architectural structures, EKSPAN has built a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovation within the civil engineering sector.
Joining CECA reinforces our commitment to contributing to the advancement of the civil engineering industry while supporting the association’s efforts to represent and advocate for contractors across the UK.
CECA was established in 1996 at the request of contractors and is the primary representative body for civil engineering contractors in the UK. With a membership of over 350 companies, CECA represents organisations of all sizes, from large national firms to regional contractors. Together, its members account for 75-80% of the civil engineering workload in Great Britain.
As a CECA member, EKSPAN will join a collective voice that promotes the civil engineering industry’s critical contribution to the UK’s social and economic development and maintenance of the nation’s vital infrastructure.
Civil engineering contractors employ approximately 250,000 professionals and contribute nearly £20 billion annually to the economy, showcasing the industry’s role as an essential driver of progress and innovation.
Max Angerer, director and co-owner of EKSPAN, said: “We are thrilled to become members of CECA and align ourselves with an organisation that champions the interests of civil engineering contractors across the UK.
“At EKSPAN, we are dedicated to delivering innovative engineering solutions that support the development and maintenance of vital infrastructure. We look forward to collaborating with CECA and its members to further strengthen the industry and the essential work it delivers for the country.”
