AS PART OF A MULTI-BILLION POUND INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT, EKSPAN WORKED WITH MULTIPLE STAKEHOLDERS TO DELIVER A NEW EXPANSION JOINT ON THE HALO BRIDGE.
This was a complex project to develop the derelict area surrounding Battersea Power Station including the bridge approaches and surrounding neighbourhood. The transformation of the derelict Grade II* Listed building and its 42-acre surroundings into a modern, multi-use complex, comprised homes, shops, restaurants and leisure venues, along with over 7.5 hectares of public space, all served by the new Battersea Power Station underground station, on the Northern Line.
EKSPAN SUPPORT
EKSPAN installed a T-Mat 130 Expansion joint on the Halo bridge. The T-Mat Expansion Joint is a versatile jointing system which accommodates multi directional movement whilst spanning the necessary voids. The T-Mat Joint System has become the clients’ choice of solution to solve the sealing and bridging of gaps, all fully compliant with CD357 standards.
